Brierpatch Bungalow: Living Room

About the Brierpatch

The Brierpatch Bungalow was moved from downtown Waycross, GA to a wooded, rural area about five miles outside of town in August 2011. At that point, restoration work began. The owner, Sandy Keeler, moved in nearly three years later. The work is not yet finished... and perhaps it never will be. In addition to restoring the house (using as many period pieces as possible), the yard is landscaped entirely in plants native to southeastern Georgia. The Brierpatch is also home to a large number of dogs and cats, as well as two horses. Sandy can be reached at sandy.keeler@att.net. Most of this blog was written by Sandy's daughter, Jane.
